Timothy O’Brien was going to present about his 2020 ambient release Noise, but that presentation has been postponed. Daniel Brugh will be stepping in to give a presentation demonstrating his studio and the tools he has been working with, including software-based synthesizers, which he uses to work on electronic music projects and film scoring.

Noise, is a project that collides ambient sound, and electronic recording. This project explores the fine line between ambient sound and raw noise, swaying back and forth between the two. Recorded and produced with an IPhone, IPad, and Fruity Loops Mobile Studio, Timothy has minimized technological needs and made a project that is as accessible to make as it is to experience. Prepare to relax, and immerse yourself in this ambient project and find out more about Timothy’s inspiration that is embedded in the project.

Bio: Timothy Arliss OBrien is an interdisciplinary artist in music composition, writing, and visual arts. His goal is to connect people to accessible new music that showcases virtuosic abilities without losing touch of authentic emotions. He has premiered music with The Astoria Music Festival, Cascadia Composers, Sound of Late’s 48 hour Composition Competition and ENAensemble’s Serial Opera Project. He also wants to produce writing that connects the reader to themselves in a way that promotes wonder and self realization. He has self published several novels (Dear God I’m a Faggot, They), and has written for Look Up Records(Seattle), Our Bible App, and Deep Overstock: The Bookseller’s Journal.
