Presenter: Lisa Neher
Topic: Self-Publishing and Score Sales Options for Composers
"Your existing scores are marketable assets that can deepen audience engagement, generate income, and expand your professional reach. This workshop shows self-published composers how to make those assets discoverable and sellable."
With a voice praised as “full and rich” and “especially alive” (OR ArtsWatch), Dr. Lisa Neher’s (b. 1985) performance credits include Third Angle New Music, Experiments in Opera, Renegade Opera, and the Portland Opera Chorus. Described as a “supremely talented,” “visionary composer” (Willamette Week), and author of “liquid, impressionist piano writing and fluent melding” of voices (New York Classical Review), Neher’s compositions are inspired by the climate crisis, the tender love of family and friends, and the eerie mystery of deep ocean life. Her works have been commissioned and performed by NATS, Cincinnati Song Initiative and Third Angle New Music, among others. She is President of New Wave Opera. www.lisanehermusic.com
