Embark on a journey of unique sounds and songs from the islands of the Philippines in this chamber concert featuring the music of Alexander John Villanueva, Ryan Cayabyab, Felipe de León, and David A. Jones, and poetry by José Corazón de Jesús. Join us as we celebrate the joyful, resilient spirit of the Filipino community here in Oregon and throughout the world. Funded in part by a Community Cultural Participation Grant from the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition. Featuring performances by Amelia Lukas, Catherine Lee, Kirt Peterson, Kai Rocke, Rebecca Stager, Raymund Ocampo, David A. Jones, and members of the Filipino Bayanihan Center's Jam Band. All proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Filipino Bayanihan Center.
