In a reprise of our November season opener, Eugene-based nonesuch.reedquintet performs a concert inspired by the sciences of ecology and evolution, astronomy, mathematics, medicine, cultural anthropology, and a contemplation of the nexus of electrical and political power.  Astronomical reflection inspired works by Sy Brandon, Mary Fineman, Alon Nechushtan and Lana White; the other diverse fields inspired Betty Booher, I’lana Cotton, Brian Magill, Paul Safar and Nicholas Yandell.  None literally include voice, but you may go away singing yourself, your heart touched by emotions as various as joy, rage, love, sorrow and glee.

Come hear nonesuch.reedquintet in a scientific rhapsody!
